As for the eating.

The eating section is gonna have to be worked on. I'm definitely doing the eating. I just need to work on writing it down

Ireland. Just sayin other countries are going to have to step up

Ok so updating is proving a little more difficult than I'd have hoped but here I try to explain Ireland. Future home? We have spent about 4.5 days here and I could spend the whole 7 weeks and be happy. Dublin might be the perfect big city. It's not crazy big and there is plenty to do. Leah and I walked around for hours and found a variety of things. Trinity college is everything you think it would be. The old buildings looks as id they were built yesterday. They stand strong and feel warm even though it was cold and rainy. The buildings are all warm and inviting. You walk in and start sweating because of how warm they are. Also the pubs are everything you imagined. People are just excited to sing and yell and be happy. The Irish know how to have a good time. The days last forever and take on a more relaxed time schedule. Places open late and close early so they can make it to the pub.

Oh well as for the 8k Leah and I did while in Dublin.........uh let's just say we finished. I'm actually proud we ran the whole thing. No stopping. No walking. No whining. We just ran and finished with a time I can live with. Would I do it again if I had a chance to go back in time? No doubt. Would I do another in the next year? Oh hell no! It's been two full days and my legs can barely make it down stairs.

Well after our time in Dublin we headed for Galway. They city was awesome and the view made worth a trip for everyone. If I could figure out how to post pictures from my phone I would but as of now I can't. Sorry. The nightlife was insane but we had to be up at 5am so we had to enjoy the Irish tunes from our hostle beds. Bummer but Kilkenny totally made up for anything that we might've missed.

If I had to move to Ireland I think Kilkenny would have to be my first choice. The city and scenery are ridiculous. I can't even explain how picture perfect it is. I think ablu 60% of the postcards of Ireland must be from here. The other 40% I think are from county Carlow. We rode the train through and we were surrounded by green hills. It's everything you'd imagine Ireland to be. The people might give gandhi a run for nicest people on the planet. It might just be the accent but everyone is so nice.

Well tomorrow we have a big travel day to Liverpool. All day on trains and ferries so I better see a beetle. Well I hope I can post again soon.

Dublin at last

So this is a day late but craziness and rushing have been consuming my time but here it is. Well, to start off my blog I could talk about many things that dotted my day. The 10 hour delay, the way my brother and his girlfriend and accommodating generously, the sleepless flight, the music and food at the pub,but nothing can and will compare to the descent into Dublin. When our monster airbus lowered below the multiple layers of clouds and the homeland was finally visible nothing could've prepared me for the emotion the punched me in the chest. I have never experienced that feeling I got when I saw that dream I have pictured for a decade finally manifest itself in this moment. It's hard to explain. Imagine wanting something for so long and finally realizing it's here. Surreal is possibly the word. I thought maybe I was dreaming and that the plane was actually over the US still. I didn't want to get my hopes up but when it hit me I sat there trying to hold myself together. It was only a sight. I hadn't met the people or ate the food but I saw the sight and it was all i needed and the emotion came. As for tears....well I'll leave that to the imagination and the judging oh and maybe for Leah to spread a few rumors.
